What Is Migration?

Psalm 84:5 NKJV -Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, Whose heart is set on pilgrimage.

Pilgrimage denotes a journey.
This is not a new idea. It is the nature of our faith.
1 Peter 2:11 – Peter refers to believers as sojourners.
Paul in Colossians 1:13 talks to us about our transfer from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear son.
When we look at Abraham in Genesis 12 we are told that God called him out of his father’s house into a place where the Lord would show him, in other words a journey. We are told of this great father of our faith in
Hebrews 11: It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. 9 And even when he reached the land God promised him, he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents. And so, did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise. 10 Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.
We also find this concept of migration in Jeremiah 8:7 Even the stork that flies across the sky knows the time of her migration, as do the turtledove, the swallow, and the crane. They all return at the proper time each year. But not my people! They do not know the LORD’s laws.
Migration therefore is the moving from one location to another. As it is in the physical so is it in the spiritual.
The bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 3:18-2018 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. Transformation has to do with change and change has to do with obeying God discerning the times and migrating into the ordained position in God. When we were children we acted like children but in the day of maturity we act like sons and the appropriate behavior is demanded by God! The word of God says that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.
Ephesians 5:15-16 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. Kairos= appointed time-season, fullness of time, God’s season, opportunity, fitting time Chronos= our time, minutes hours ((God created time, and in His sovereign Kairos time He interacts and enters Chronos time according to his perfect will.))
1 Chronicles 12 :32 32 of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command; So what time are we in? We have had various expressions of the moves of God in society…we have the church in the book of Acts, Reformation with Luther, the Pentecostal move, the Charismatic move and now we are in a new move – the apostolic season. There is a demand to shift in mentality so that we can effectively accomplish the purpose of God. Various moves and different stops in our journey to the nature of Christ and our subsequent conformity to that nature have been wonderful but if we become stagnant in one location yesterday’s manna will become rotten food and will not catapult us into the end time purpose of God. In this new season, we will receive by revelation new definition of concepts in our faith that we thought were accurate but a not, The Lord will confront our erroneous biblical ideas of who God is and how we are to relate to Him and partner with Him. In this season God is moving us into accuracy, the dominant mentality of escaping the world/rapture will be dismantled as God puts in us a new operating system that can handle His demands of the day – we say many things like the wealth of the wicked is coming to us but we must be ready or we will be like the son who squandered his inheritance. We are moving from paradigms of just entering the kingdom and getting to a finishing position. Someone once said that Wisdom builds the house and administrates the matters of God. There is presently very little wisdom in the administration of revelation. We are they that are seeking God for this wisdom so that we can effectively administrate grace into every sphere of life.
I will close by exhorting the church to (Isaiah 60:1-3) Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising. We ask God to reveal to us blue prints, order, instructions for this house in the name of Jesus. We ask Him to illuminate us and cause us to know what season it is and to respond to Him as we should.
