HE IS OUR SOURCE - OUR ORIGIN & OUR IDENTITY-Genesis 2:21-23 NASB So the
LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs
and closed up the flesh at that place. [22]
The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man and brought her to the man. [23] The man said, "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man."
John 19:32-35 “The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water.”
Adam was put by God to sleep ; from his side Eve his bride came forth. In death on the Cross the Lord's bride, came out of His side .
Our identity in Christ is rooted in our redemption by the blood of the Lamb and our new life by the Water of His Word & His Spirit.
In Titus 3:5 we are told that: He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.
He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. Regeneration is the impartation of spiritual life, to those who are spiritually dead, through their trespasses and sins (Ephesians 2:1).
It is the Holy Spirit who imparts this life.
The written Word is the instrument which the Holy Spirit uses in regeneration.
Jesus is the cleft, a split or hole in a rock.
Cleft can also be the past-tense form of the verb cleave, meaning “to split apart or sever. “Jesus was cleft (cleaved) for me.
His body was broken and severed to save me from sin’s guilt and power.
Colossians 3:3 TPT Your crucifixion with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ. THE LORD’S COMMAND IS TO STAY HID IN CHRIST.

Psalm 27:4-5 One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.5 For in the day of trouble He will keep me safe in His dwelling; He will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock.
Psalm 91:1-3 When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. 2He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence.3He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy, and he will protect you from false accusation and any deadly curse.
Judges 15:8 NKJV So he attacked them hip and thigh with great slaughter; then he went down and dwelt in the cleft of the rock of Etam. JESUS IS THE ONLY CLEFT I CANNOT BE HUNTED OUT OF AND HARMED. ***ON THE CLEFT OF THE ROCK IS WHERE I SEE YOUR GLORYI WILL PUT YOU !!! THANK YOU FOR PUTTING ME IN CHRIST Exodus 33:22 NKJV So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. [God cradles me in His Hand. YOU gently and protectively hold me in the midst of Your purpose.]
Exodus 17:6 “Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” We see the GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST. 2 Corinthians iv. 6. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” — In Him we are the light of the world, and it is ours to reflect the light, to impart the knowledge, to manifest the glory, to point to the Savior’s face, and to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
JESUS CHRISTIS THE ROCK OF AGES CLEFT FOR US. 1 Corinthians 10:4 “..and all drank the same spiritual drink.
For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.” THERE IS A WARNING HERE READING
1 Corinthians 10:1-12. We are warned about idolatry, complaining, unbelief. We should be spiritually mature and flee carnality- obsession with self and not relying on God despite seen manifestations of His glory through miracles.
We are called to transformation. Let us work out our salvation with fear and trembling and flee from the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life! CHRIST MY CLEFT - THE LOCATION OF MEETING &INTIMACY WITH MY GOD HAPPENS- Song of Songs 2: 14 says: “Oh my dove, in the seclusion of the clefts in the solid rock, in the sheltered and secret place of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice;
for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.”
PRAYER Enlarge our capacity LORD to receive spiritual things from You. Make us relevant and appropriate for Your purposes in our generation. Deliver us from anything that erodes our capacity to live in YOU. Deliver us from alliances with people that will lead us stray to sin and doubt YOU our Father & murmur against YOU our authentic and Divine Leadership. Rock of ages, cleft for me Let me hide myself in Thee. Amen.
