CONTEMPLATIng on GOD OUR FATHEr

Contemplating on God our father 

To Contemplate is to look thoughtfully at…to direct our minds deliberately to the awareness of God. That’s what we are doing, by faith we are submitting our thoughts, emotion and decisions to the Knowledge of God.

John 14:6-11 NKJV Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. [7] “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” [8] Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” [9] Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? [10] Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. [11] Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.

We want to move from religion/religious deception to experience. TO KNOW MEANS =To perceive with certainty; to understand clearly; to have a clear and certain perception of truth, fact, or any thing that actually exists. Beyond doubt & uncertainty is where we want to live. THE LORD HE IS GOD.

Let’s deal with KNOWING for a minute – KNOW is not a casual knowing ,its deep…To know God implies obedience. To live in conformity with His will is to know God. Know implies covenant. To know is to be intimate. The kind of intimacy that produces fruit. Genesis 4:25 NKJV And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed.”

What is religion? Its that which substitutes religious activity for the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. That which seeks to replace a genuine relationship with God with works and traditions. We have the theory of God as our Father, but we want to KNOW HIM AS FATHER. I want this! To know You Father. This One that said “Let us create man in our image.” And He said it was good. We want everything that covers or dulls our ability to know and experience God as our Father completely uncovered by the Holy Ghost so that we can be free to know, and enjoy our Father’s love. We do not want to choke, hinder, muffle the cry of Abba Father because we have not received GOD AS FATHER.
