Access To Grace
Break open your Word within me until revelation-light shines out! Those with open hearts are given insight into your plans
Let us pray- Break open your Word within me until revelation-light shines out! Those with open hearts
are given insight into your plans.
Thoughts this Sunday before we continue to define Grace - The voice of God, obeying Him precedes
the revelation of God as Provider. Genesis 22:2,14 Voice Eternal One: Take your son, your only son Isaac
whom I know you love deeply, and go to the land of Moriah. When you get there, I want you to offer
Isaac to Me as a burnt offering on one of the mountains. I will show you which one. [14] From that day
forward, Abraham called that place, "The Eternal One will provide." Because of this, people still today
say, "On the Mount of the Eternal, all will be provided.
What is the mount of the LORD? It is the location where His nature, will , actions are revealed. Hebrews
12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an
innumerable company of angels, [you here is referring to those delivered from the kingdom of darkness
into the kingdom of His son- people are where God has commanded them to be ,living how He has
decreed and doing what He has commanded]
Isaiah 1:19 NKJV If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;
Proverbs 13:4 NKJV The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be
made rich.
Proverbs 26:15 NKJV The lazy man buries his hand in the bowl; It wearies him to bring it back to his
mouth.
Parable of the prodigal son KNOWLEDGE & ACCESS -Luke 15:29-31 NKJV So he answered and said to
his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at
any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. [30] But as
soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf
for him.' [31] "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.
Back to GRACE.
“Grace is a Person. Grace is the Constitution of God. Grace is what makes me up. No wonder
previously we saw that Paul declaring
1 Corinthians 15:10 NKJV But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was
not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which
was with me.
Thinking of Grace this week has taken me back to
Genesis. Genesis 1:26 NKJV Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our
likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the
cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Psalm 8:4-6 NKJV What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit
him? [5] For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with
glory and honor. [6] You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You
have put all things under his feet,
Grace is about identity, way of life & destiny Acts 9:5-6 NKJV
And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
It is hard for you to kick against the goads.” [6] So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord,
what do You want me to do?” Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you
will be told what you must do.”
Grace is about the revelation of the son of God in you, in me,
Grace is about change and transformation Galatians 1:13-16 NKJV
For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God
beyond measure and tried to destroy it. [14] And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my
contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my
fathers. [15] But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called
me through His grace, [16] to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the
Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,
*God is to be worshipped in spirit and in truth. Grace is spirit
Zech. 12:10a “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the
Spirit of grace and of supplication …
Paul repeats often Grace & peace be multiplied in you- our spirits are the perfect receptor of
Grace. Phil. 1:25 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Phil. 1:25 The grace of
the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
We looked at this scripture last time. John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among
us, and we saw His glory, glory as of The only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
God created us in His image & likeness- how does this happen ? When the Word becomes flesh,
when we eat the Bread of life- you are what you eat. Man shall not live by bread alone but by
every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.
Here is a bottle full of water -John 1:14 is telling us that Jesus is full of grace and truth and John
1:16 is telling us that “ For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.” What we
supposed to be full of? GRACE.
Two definitions- Thamo Naidoo says Grace is that Divine invisible, immaterial property or
veritable substance in the Godhead that empowers you to function as a representation of God,
and also resources you, thus enabling you to function in a particular way to get work done
according to the plan of God.”
Randolph Barnwell - God’s grace is the substance and property by which God, as a Spirit being,
is constituted. This divine, supernatural endowment or deposit is imparted to a person,
enabling that person to become all that God has destined them to be, and empowers them to
successfully execute His will upon the earth. It bestows upon the recipient enablement,
empowerment, favor, acceptance and privilege, causing joy and contentment as the person
develops into the fullness of his predetermined identity as a son of God.
Jesus Christ was fully occupied with fulfilling the will of the Father culminating in this great
occasion we are remembering of His resurrection & our own in Him. His commitment was to
FINISH THE WORK OF HIM WHO SENT HIM.
Let us pray- Turn your heart to me, Lord, and show me your grace like you do to every one of
your godly lovers. Psalms 119:132 . AMEN.
