God Is Santuary
Ezekiel 11:16 Voice Give the citizens of Jerusalem My message. “Tell them that I, the Eternal Lord, drove them far away from My temple and scattered them among other countries, but I have still been a sanctuary for them during this time in those other lands where they have gone.”
Revelation 21:22 I saw no sanctuary in the city, for the Lord God, the Ruler of all, is its Sanctuary, and so is the Lamb. (WEY YLT)
SANCTUARY IS NOT THE WORK OF A MAN - Hebrews 8:2 Voice. A Minister within the heavenly sanctuary set up by the Lord, not by human hands.
SANCTUARY GOD’S DWELLING PLACE!
Exodus 25:8-9 "Let them construct a sanctuary for Me, that I may dwell among them. "According to all that I am going to show you, as the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furniture, just so you shall construct it.
SANCTUARY – PLACE OF WORSHIP- Hebrews 9:1-3 TPT.. Now in the first covenant there were specific rules for worship including a sanctuary on earth to worship in. When you entered the tabernacle you would first come into the holy chamber where you would find the lampstand and the bread of his presence on the fellowship table. Then as you pass through the next curtain you would enter the innermost chamber called, the holiest sanctuary of all.
SANCTUARY IS OUR RESPONSE TO THE LOVE OF GOD- WE CAN DO OTHER BUT LOVE. THE FOUNDATION OF SANCTUARY IS LOVE.
John 3:16-17 Voice for God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face everlasting destruction, but will have everlasting life. [17] Here's the point. God didn't send His Son into the world to judge it; instead, He is here to rescue a world headed toward certain destruction.
Romans 5:8-9 Voice. But think about this: while we were wasting our lives in sin, God revealed His powerful love to us in a tangible display-the Anointed One died for us. [9] As a result, the blood of Jesus has made us right with God now, and certainly we will be rescued by Him from God's wrath in the future.
SANCTUARY manifests the image and likeness of our God - Genesis 1:26 Voice. God: Now let Us conceive a new creation-humanity-made in Our image, fashioned according to Our likeness. And let Us grant them authority over all the earth-the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, the domesticated animals and the small creeping creatures on the earth.
GOD IS SEEN IN THE SANCTUARY - Psalm 63:2. Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.
SANCTUARY makes knows God’s manifold wisdom to principalities and powers- Ephesians 3:10 Voice. Here’s His objective: through the church, He intends now to make known His infinite and boundless wisdom to all rulers and authorities in heavenly realms.
SANCTUARY is the location of covenant -2 Chronicles 5:7 Voice. Following the sacrifices, the Levitical priests carried the covenant chest of the Eternal to its new home in the most holy place, under the protective wings of the creatures that covered the covenant chest and its carrying poles.
The entire Epistle to the Hebrews is an exposition of the better covenant of which Christ is mediator (8:6). Salvation through Jesus Christ is according to the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God (Acts 2:23),
For example, when God heard the groaning’s of the Hebrews in Egypt, we are told that He remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob
SANCTUARY IS THE LOCATION OF UNDERSTANDING- Psalm 73:16-17 When I pondered to understand this, It was troublesome in my sight Until I came into the sanctuary of God; Then I perceived their end.
[UNDERSTANDING] SANCTUARY is the location of dominion, authority, rulership - Jeremiah 17:12 AMPC. A glorious throne, set on high from the beginning, is the place of our sanctuary (the temple).
IN CHRIST WE ARE SANCTUARY
1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your bodies are a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is within you--the Spirit whom you have from God?
